HiBA Member Terms & Code of Conduct

Hi Block Alliance (HiBA)  is a demand-driven alliance focused on the blockchain industry. To promote industry best practice, all HiBA members subscribe to its principles and self-regulatory Code of Conduct set out below. HiBA members are committed to working together to proactively update the Code and ensure it remains fit for purpose in delivering best practice amongst members.

We expect our members to adhere to this Code of Conduct in any HiBA related conversations and on any HiBA-managed platforms at all times.

  • HiBA Services

The HiBA manages a private members telegram server and may manage other members only services. If you wish to nominate someone for membership, please direct them to the membership application form on the HIBA website.

All members are required to set their nickname to the following format to ensure members and administrators know with whom they are conversing:

*NAME – COMPANY [where relevant]*

  • Member’s Duty

Members support the HiBA’s self-regulatory Code of Conduct, including taking the appropriate measures to know their partners, act fairly, maintain operational standards, and prevent financial crime. Members commit to working together to further improve such standards for best practice.

  • Member’s Communications

The use of HiBlock Alliance membership in communications to promote a third party company / project / service is strictly forbidden. If doing so, members will receive a warning or be kicked out the alliance at the sole discretion of the HIBA board. HiBA reserves the right to publicly list companies or individuals that do not respect this rule.
